Congress of Free Improvised Music, Arts and Thoughts; ImproCON August 12th - 15th, 2016 (Kumrovec, Croatia).
In connection with: Croatian association Gokul, Slovenian Cultural and Artistic Association Mreža, Klub Metulj - Youth Centre Bistica ob Sotli and Austrian Schaumbad - Freies Atelierhaus Graz and Slovenska prosvetna zveza/Slowenischer Kulturverband from Klagenfurt.

CALL FOR ARTISTS
ImproCON congress is calling for musicians (focus on free improvised and experimental performers), sound artists, multimedia artists, visual artists, performers, filmmakers, dancers, photographers, poets, philosophers and other theorists, music teachers, writers, journalists, music promoters and sound engineers from Croatia, Austria and Slovenia to collaborate, co-work, network and develop in working process of four days in Kumrovec, Croatia.

EVENT DESCRIPTION
Minimum 60 participants from different art fields will meet and collaborate on the spot in order to create new ideas and approaches to develop new collaborations in the future. Participants will be able to participate in different approaches of music-making in interaction with musicians, photographers, audio/video engineers and other artists. One of the main purposes of ImproCON is to connect people (artists) in order to countinue working together after the congress and encouraging them to develop new productions, projects, concerts, etc.
