Eva Ursprung

lives and works in Graz/Austria. Installations, objects, performances, art in the electronic, social and public spaces. Working with video, photography and sound. Bass-guitar and sax with ZLAN, sax with “wavegroom”, “Squant”, electronics with “Notorious Noise Brigade” and “hurennoise”.

1982-1992 feminist culture magazine and women´s art association Eva & Co, since 1993 Kunstverein W.A.S. (Womyn´s Art Support) – founder and president; 1998 founding member of 42, 1998-2003 curator for visual art at Forum Stadtpark Graz; 2003 founding of the art association “Balkanize it!”; 2004-2006 member of ltnc (Lady Tigers Night Club); 2004 founding of the intercultural art space BAODO im NIL. Since 2005 member of IMA (Institute for Media Archeology (board), board member of IG Kultur Steiermark. Since 2008 founding member and president of “Schaumbad – Freies Atelierhaus Graz”.
